This project began when our clients decided to downsize from their current residence and move to a smaller home in the same neighborhood - a verdant and welcoming area in south Austin.  The home they purchased had storybook charms, but required significant work to bring it up to modern standards and make it a place that they could call home.

Our approach was to embrace the existing aesthetic, but apply a design rigor to the interior spaces and exterior form, maximising natural light, and working closely with our clients to develop the interior selections and finishes.  We fully renovated the existing home with an addition to the front facade, and the primary suite addition to the rear is intentionally distinct from the main house, forming a private courtyard with patio and pool.
