The site chosen for this new construction home presented many challenges, including varied topography, a steep drop-off, and a large protected tree in the center of the property. Rather than fighting against the site, our Austin architects worked with it to turn what seemed like limitations into assets. Our solution was to place the carport, pool, and walled courtyard at the front of the home. Walking in, you are greeted by the shade of the central tree. The main house sits on the back of the site, with three levels that take advantage of the space created by the slope. Back balcony views open onto the greenbelt and city for a truly connected feel.
